What Postory is
Postory is an internal content-publishing tool run by the team behind postory.biz. We use it only to upload and schedule short videos on YouTube channels that we own and manage: our own brands. It is not offered to the public, and outside users cannot sign in to it.
What Google data we access
When a channel owner connects a YouTube channel, the tool asks Google for permission to manage that channel's videos through the YouTube Data API. With this permission we:
- read the basic details of the connected channel (its name and ID) so we upload to the right channel;
- upload videos, titles, descriptions, thumbnails and publish times that we prepared ourselves;
- change or delete videos the tool uploaded, for example to cancel a scheduled post.
We do not read viewers' data, comments or private messages, and we do not access any other Google data.
How we store and protect it
The access tokens Google issues are stored only on our own server. They are readable only by the server's administrator and are never put in web pages or sent to anyone else. Our own video files and captions are stored on the same server.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube and Google
This tool uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access and deleting data
A channel owner can remove the tool's access at any time at Google Account → Third-party connections, or from the Google security settings page. If you ask us to, we delete the stored tokens for that channel within 7 days.
